Lets Talk Autocross:
The First Sandlapper Autocross is history!  Special thanks to our host, Michelin, for allowing us access to the World's best autocross location.  May the goodwill they extended come back to them hundredfold.  Please give a big round of applause to Ronn Hale, Mike Renner, Dwayne Mosley, Brook Harmon, John Kawamoto, Trip Binford, Joe Weir, and all the others for organizing and setting up the event.  And, Thanks to the 65 or so auto aficionados who showed up to have some fun.

"I had a great time at the autocross.  It was a great day, well run and a wonderful facility.  I'm sure you put in a ton of work to make it happen.  Thank you.  I hope we can do it again next year."  - Gary Whiteside

"I just wanted to drop you a quick line and say thanks. That was my first  AutoX and it was great fun. It's always a blast pushing your vehicle (and driver) to the brink, with no legal implications. Anyway you guys did a great job.   See you at the next one,  Ted"

"I want to thank you and all others responsible for arranging/organizing the autocross. You did a great job! I especially appreciated organizing that last run for us. Please pass along my thanks to those whose names I have forgotten.
It was an absolute blast!
I think my near spin on the first curve (was I the only one who had trouble there?) is telling me I need better tires the next time out. Wonder if they make a detachable wing for roadsters?
I am sure that laying out the course, getting the recalcitrant timing equipment, etc. was a lot of work. Glad someone thought to bring the stop watches.

Stay tuned for Autocross results, and information on the next great Sandlapper Event.
